Timeless Classics

We are happy to announce that we are now offering fresh, housemade soy milk and tofu flower. This traditionally hot beverage has been around since the 11th century BC in northeastern China, using the very same two ingredients that we use today: soy beans and water. Tofu flower, also known as 豆花 (dòuhuā), is also made from soy milk and is thought to have originated around 200 BC during the Western Han Dynasty.

It is amazing that after thousands of centuries, we still use the same recipe that they used back then–allowing us to taste what the people of ancient China tasted. One thing is for sure: this is a taste that transcends through time.
